Jackson Historical Society- As an educational
and cultural resource, the Jackson Historical Society
welcomes guests who come to stay at our historical
member inns and want to learn more about this village
which has attracted visitors for two centuries. Plan to
explore the town's National Historic District, enjoy
works from the White Mountain Art School, track
genealogy or view valuable maps and documents from this
area of the White Mountains.

Washington Cog Railway: The Mt. Washington Cog
Railway: Take the cog train to the summit of Mt.

surroundings on the world's first mountain-climbing cog

action, on some of the steepest railway tracks make this
"the experience of a lifetime.
The Flume
is one of Franconia Notch's geological wonders. The
Flume offers a spectacular walk through a natural chasm,
over covered bridges and past waterfalls, a scenic pool
and mountain views. A free 15-minute movie at the
Visitor Center provides a fine introduction to the
Franconia State Park and the Flume Gorge Information
Center, cafeteria, gift shop and interpretive exhibits.
Storyland is the children’s theme park where fantasy lives!
